CN-P165

A night view postcard on the Drum Tower of Xi'an (西安鼓楼). It is located in the heart of Xi'an, Shaanxi province (陕西 西安). It is a symbol of the city. It was erected in 1380 during the early Ming Dynasty. Towering above the city center, it offers incredible view of Xi'an. This tower got its name from the huge drum located within the building. Thanks fj69.

A pair of 2 Yuan bird definitive stamps were used. They were cancelled at Xi'an Chang'anbeilu 2 (西安北路 2) on 18.3.2012.
