A surprise postcard on West Coast South Africa (Weskus Suid-Afrika). According to sender, it is the longest uninterrupted sandy beach in South Africa. It is known as 16 Mile-beach and starts from Yzerfontein. Thanks to generous person who sent this card.

 















A NVI stamp for Airmail Postcard was used. It was machine cancelled on 5.8.2017. Place of cancelled is not readily identifiable.

A beautiful aerial view of the Cape Peninsula, South Africa, with Signal Hill in the north and Cape Point in the south. It is also the place where Atlantic Ocean meets Indian Ocean. Thanks meldv.

It was sent with a non-value indicator flower stamp for airmail postcard rate on 23.4.2009. A machine cancellation with four wavy lines with date in between was used to cancel the stamp. The first line above the date is unclear.
