AT-L2

A painting postcard showing murders occurring, Wien in 1470. Thanks erlkoenigstochter for the lottery. As a postal label covers the description partially, nothing more could I know this painting.



















A 140 eurocent 100 years of airfield in Wiener Neustadt stamp with an aircraft was used to send this postcard. It was sent on 14.9.2009 from Krems an der Donau with postcode 3500. Very neat postmark.

A postcard of East China Normal University (华东师范大学) showing its library. A well-known university in Shanghai with two campus in the city, Minhang District and Putuo District. Thanks Xumengting.












It was sent from Shanghai Wujing 7 (上海 吴泾 7) on 17.9.2009. Wujing is where Minhang Campus is located. A 3 Yuan greetings stamp was used to pay its postage.

The Pentagon, headquarter of the US Department of Defense. It is a symbol of US military. Located in Arlington County, Virginia, this building was built during Second World War. The water body at the background is Potomac River. Beyond this river is the District of Columbia. Thanks Liskatze.















An American postcard sent from Germany. A €1.00 flower definitive stamp was used on the card but there is no cancellation.

A postcard on transportation in the Great Lakes in northeastern North America. These freighters are important for the transporting cargo and goods in these lakes. Freighters, showing on this card, are "The Kaye E. Baker", "The Algowest" and "The Stewart J. Cort". Thanks HeatherC.















A pair of 44cents lighthouse stamps (Biloxi, Mississippi and Sand Island, Alabama) were used together with a 10cents Fort Harrod stamp, issued in 1974, to pay the postage. This card was sent from Watertown NY 136 on 14.9.2009. This meter cancellation is very clear but did not cancel two stamps.
