RU-P35

A postcard reproduced of propaganda from former Soviet Union in 1963. It showed the ambition to go for outer space. Thanks Anitra.















Several stamps were used to send this postcard; these stamps include a pair of 0.50p. fox stamps, a 4.50p. waterfall stamp and a 15p. Curonian Spit stamp with its tab. They were cancelled at Северодвинск (Severodvinsk) 164501 on 18.4.2011 .

A postcard from Texas showing the roundup of cows. Working ranches are found in this state and where cowboys are known for this horse-back riding skill. Thanks Algee.















It was sent with several stamps to make up the international rate; a 10 cents American clock, a 44cents King and a 2011 "forever" stamp with word, "celebrate". They were cancelled on probably 25.5.2011 as this meter cancellation did not printed well from maybe a place in Dallas.

A postal card on the Revolutionary Memorial Hall of Hongyan Village (红岩村革命纪念馆) in Chongqing (重庆). The ID no. is FP14(10-2) 2000B. Thanks zhurenweng.














It comes with a 4.20 Yuan pre-printed stamp of the same design as this card. A 30 Fen environmental definitive stamp was added. They were cancelled at Hohhot Nanmengwai 6 (呼和浩特 Kökeqota.svg  南门外6) on 26.4.2011.

A postcard on the aerial view of Old Town of Tallinn. This section is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn." The projected building with green roof is St. Olaf's Church (Oleviste kirik). Another church, St. Nicholas' Church (Niguliste kirik) is seen at the bottom of this card. Thanks ellgee.















 A 0,58€ piles of timber stamp was used. It was cancelled at Tallinn PK, the date is unclear and only the month, "5.11", is recognizable.

A postal card with aerial view of snow-covered Kizhi Pogost (Кижский Погост). This place is listed as UNESCO World Heritage under the same name. It was located on Kizhi Island in Lake Onega, Republic of Karelia, Russia. Thanks ozlanchik.















The back of this postcard is covered with stamp; a gutter pair of 15p. drawing stamps and a miniature sheet on Moscow with face value 3000p. in old currency. The pre-printed stamp is partial covered. They were cancelled at Mockba (Moscow) on 17.3.2011.

A postcard on Tiger Hill (虎丘) in Suzhou during winter. The pagoda shown on this card is Yunyan Pagoda (云岩寺塔) but colloquially known as Tiger Hill Pagoda. Its nickname is "Learning Tower of China." Thanks FaFa.














It was sent with three stamps; a 80 Fen personalized stamp with its tab, a 1.20 Yuan greeting stamp and a 1.20 Yuan porcelain stamp (2007-3, 2-1). They were cancelled with postmarks of Zhejiang Ningbo Pingxin (Tongqu) 8  or in Chinese "浙江 宁波 平信(筒取)8" on 8.1.2011.

A view of the South China Great Wall (苗疆长城 or 中国南长城) near Fenghuang, Hunan (湖南凤凰). This Great Wall was used to defend from Miao Rebellion during Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt  during Qing Dynasty for the same purpose. It was inside Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (湘西土家族苗族自治州). Thanks Joe.














Four 1.20 Yuan personalized stamp were used. They were cancelled at Hunan Fenghuang Gucheng 1 (湖南 凤凰 古城 1) on 12.3.2011.

A 44 cents alphabet stamp and a 28 cents polar bear stamp was used. It was sent from Sioux Falls on 2.3.2011. The upper line of this cancellation is not clearly printed but still able to recognize the place name.
