MY-O17



A postcard on Melaka’s landmark, the Stadhuys or Dutch Square, located next to Melaka River. It is part of the heritage zone in Melaka City. Together with George Town of Penang. this place is part of the UNESCO listed World Heritage List under the name "Melaka and George Town, Historical Cities of the Straits of Malacca". This card was sent while in Melaka.


 













A 30 sen stamp on medicine plant was used. It was cancelled a day later by machine postmark of Melaka on 12.7.2017.

A postcard issued by the Palestine Post on Christmas at Bethlehem. It shows the Star of Nativity Church. This spot is traditionally believed as the birth place of Jesus within the Church of the Nativity (كَنِيسَةُ ٱلْمَهْد). This church is also listed as UNESCO World Heritage List under the name "Birthplace of Jesus: the Church of the Nativity and the Pilgrimage Route, Bethlehem". Thanks Bahjat for this lottery.


 













A 250 Fils stamp on Al-Azhar University at Gaza was used. It was cancelled at Omar El Mokhtar on 25.6.2017.

A lottery greeting postcard from Shandong Province (山东省). It shows an unknown building in yesteryear when bicycles are much common then. The ID no. is 10-370103-13-0371-002. Thanks Baicai. 















This come comes with an 80 Fen imprint stamp on Year of the Tiger. A set of two Tangshan EXPO stamp with face values 1.20 Yuan and 1.50 Yuan (2016-9) was franked together with a 1.20 Yuan fruit stamp (2016-18, 4-1) to uprate this card. They were cancelled with postmark of Jiangxi Fengcheng Pingxin 1 (江西 丰城 平信 1) on 24.6.2017.

A postcard on Asian Elephant. According to sender, this card was from Elephant Village at Surin (สุรินทร์) Province. Thanks Jobbo. A postmark of Pusat Mel Kuantan was stamped on this side of card on 29.6.2017.

 













A ฿9 stamp on Buddha, and two different ฿3 stamps (one on Royal family and another on orchid) were used. They were cancelled at Phra Khanong (พระโขนง) on 20.06.60. The year “60” is corresponding to year 2017.

A postcard on Mogoșoaia Palace (Palatul Mogoșoaia). This palace is situated near Bucharest. It was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu . Thanks eumihai2003.



 













A 3.50L Marsupial tiger stamp and a 50 Bani flower stamp were used. They were cancelled at București 5 – Chiseu 1 on 6.6.2017.
