A postcard showing local market selling fruits in Can Tho (Cần Thơ). It is the largest city in Mekong Delta. Thanks Matthew for sending this card while having short vacation there.


A 10500d Year of the Chicken stamp was used. A neat postmark of Saigon 700000 cancelled this stamp on 16.5.2017.

A card on local sweet of Suzhou known as Song Zi Tang (松子糖). Due to its shape, it is also known as dumpling sweet (粽子糖). Thanks Alice Ye.


A 3 Yuan personalized stamp and a 1.50 Yuan watermelon stamp (2016-18, 4-3) were used. They were cancelled in Jiangsu Suzhou Baitaxilu 1 (江苏 苏州 白塔西路 1) on 17.4.2017.

A multi-view postcard from Luang Phrabang (ຫຼວງພະບາງ) showing the inside of Grotte de Tham Ting. This is the lower cave of the Pak Ou Caves, a cave overlooking the Mekong River. It is famous for hundreds of Buddha statues. Thanks Jobbo.


A 7000k Lao house and a 1000k Buddha stamps were used. They were cancelled at Luang Prabang ຫຼວງພະບາງ on 24.4(?).2017.

A mulita-view postcard with the theme “Colours of Lake Toba.” This card shows a traditional house of the Bataks and also views on this lake. Danau Toba is a large natural lake developed when water filling up the caldera of a super volcano. Thanks Andrea80.


A miniature sheet of butterflies with two different butterfly stamps (both Rp2500) was used. It was cancelled on 13.4.2017. The place name not clear, “(?) Ciku??".

A bird-eye view on Tam Cốc during rice harvest season in Ninh Binh. The rice field is scattered in the flat land among the hills and cave karst system. It is famous for its boat ride while enjoying the scenery as seen in this card. Along with several sites within Ninh Bình Province, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site listed under the name "Trang An Landscape Complex." Thanks Jobbo for another amazing card sent while travelling.

A 10500d Year of the Monkey stamp was used. The blue-color postmark is rather faint. It was sent from Ha Noi ??? with postcode 100920 on day of 18. The month and year are not legible.
