KH-P2

A postcard showing the outline of Angkor Wat (អង្គរវត្ត) at sunset. Located near Siem Reap (ក្រុងសៀមរាប), it is the most significant monument in this country. It is the symbol of Cambodia and it appears in the national flag. This place is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name, Angkor (អង្គរ) or "Holy City" along with other Khemer temples scatter near this place. Thanks Theresa for sending this card while traveling.

A 3000R definitive stamp on Wat Angkor was used. The postmarks are a bit unclear, but still managed to known they are from Siem Reap, Angkor (ក្រុងសៀមរាប អង្គរ) 17000 and cancelled on 13.4.2011.
