CN-AS-144880

A home-made postcard with not much information of this cultural event. It depicts a man in a parade. He is wearing a cook-costume and playing a traditional musical instrument. Thanks Binmilk

Two 150 Fen stamps were used, one is Chou En Lai (1998-5, 4-4) and the other on telecommunication (1997-24, 4-3). They are cancelled by a pictorial postmark from Guangzhou on 19.3.2010. It was again cancelled by a postmark from Guangzhou Xidi (Tongqu) 10 on the same day. The Chinese for this postmark is 广州 西堤 (筒取) 10. Tongqu means it was taken out from a mailbox. A red-color commemorative postmark is stamped earlier. It was commemorating the torch "The Tide" of Asian Games in Guangzhou on 3.3.2010.
