RU-P14

The front gate or pinnacles (Башенки) of Yasnaya Polyana (Я́сная Поля́на) in Tula Oblast during winter. It was the home of a famous Russian writer, Leo Tolstoy. It is a museum for the writer. Thanks svet.














Several stamps were used to pay its postage. They are a 2p architecture definitive stamp (Arkhangelskoye), two stamps from kremlins with face values of 6p (Pskov Kremlin) and 3p (Rostov Kremlin), a 0.50p fox of wildlife definitive stamp and 7.50p new year commemorative stamp of 2008. They were cancelled in Moscow on 1.2.2010. The postmarks are from "КАЗАНСК. ВКЗ. ПЖАП ЦЕХ 9, 102000"
