FI-P10

A postcard on Helsinki's distinct landmark, Helsingin tuomiokirkko or Suurkirkko (Helsinki Cathedral). The statue in the front is dedicated to Emperor Alexander II of Russia. This church was built from 1830 to 1852 in neoclassical style. Thanks AKS.

It was sent from Helsinki (Helsingfors) on 4.1.2010. Very clear machine cancellation. This 1 KL stamp shows the landscape in the northern part of Finland.
