CN-JX-54952

This postcard shows the bridge of the Qing-Zang railways (青藏铁路) across the permafrost zone. This zone would be de-frosted during summer. Therefore, a bridge is built across it. Qingshuihe Bridge (清水河大桥) is the longest (11.4km). It is built along the eastern border of a nature reserve, Hoh Xil (可可西里, 藏语:ཨ་ཆེན་གངས་རྒྱལ།). Thanks lecaimao.

Three stamps were used here. One 60 Fen environmental definitive stamp on the upper right. While, two 2 Yuan bird definitive stamps on the bottom. This postcard was sent from Nanchang Huochezhan 11 (南昌 火车站 11) on 26.6.2009. Huochezhan means railways station.
