Temple of Confucius (文庙) in Ping Yao, Shangxi (山西平遥). This city is listed in UNESCO heritage site under the name, Ancient city of Ping Yao (平遥古城). Thanks witchsundy (逃跑的巫婆).
This postcard was sent from Beijing Ciyunsi 12 (北京 慈云寺 12) on 2.11.2009. Two plant stamps were used. A 150 Fen Chinese rose stamp (1997-17, 2-1) and a 50 Fen tea tree (1997-5, 4-1). Altogether, only 2 Yuan to send a postcard to an international destination using airmail!
An underpaid postcard but postage due not collect even though remnant of paper indicating underpaid found on the card. However, no collection was made from my side as it was tear off.
