TW-P45

A train postcard from Alishan (阿里山). Alishan Forest Railway (阿里山森林鐵路) was constructed during Japanese Colonial time for logging. It is a famous tourist attraction in this hill resort. Thanks Candice for sending this card while travelling.
















A NT$10 flower definitive stamp was used to send this postcard. It was neatly cancelled at Taipei 1 (台北 辛1) on 15.9.2015.

Two stamps were used on this card; a HK$2 geology definitive stamp and a HK$1.70 stamp on legend. They were cancelled by a machine cancellation of Hong Kong 15 on 12.9.2015.

A lottery greeting postcard from Hunan Province (湖南省), specifically at Qianzhou (乾州). It shows the house of late Luo Rong-Guang (罗荣光). The ID no. is 10-433100-13-0060-008.Thanks danbo120.












This card came with a 80 Fen Year of the Tiger imprint stamp. Three 100 Fen stamps on cave wall painting (1998-21, 3-2) and a 80 Fen flower personalized stamp were added. They were cancelled at Sichuan Guang'an Dadongjie 1 (四川 广安 大东街 1) on 5.9.2015.

A postcard issued by Postcard Interactive Company Sydney on a French UNESCO World Heritage site. The picture shows a view of the Loire Valley between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes. Two traditional boats are shown here. This place is named for its outstanding cultural landscape of great beauty. Thanks Laurent and also stamps inside the envelope.
















This card was sent inside a re-franked postal envelope with a pictorial postmark of Stamp Fair 1981. A A$1.60 Dingo stamp for international address and a NVI Concession mail of Australian map on beach were used. However, no new cancellation on these stamps.

This card comes with an 80 Fen imprint Year of the Snake stamp. Two stamps were used to up-rate the postage; they are 1.50 Yuan flower design (2013-6, 12-12) and 80 Fen opera (2014-14, 3-1). They were cancelled by a single postmark of Shandong Qingdao Tangyilu 4 (山东 青岛 堂邑路 4) on 3.8.2015.

A night view postcard on the Presidential Office Building (總統府) in Zhongzheng District (中正區), Taipei City. It was built during the Imperial Japanese rule in Taiwan. This building was turned into President's Office  in 1950 after the Nationalist China lost in the Mainland China and retreated to Taiwan.Thanks RosalieChen.

A 3-D postcard showing the Potala Palace ( པོ་ཏ་ལ) of Lhasa. It is the cultural significant site for Tibetan Buddhism. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name "Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace, Lhasa." First time received a 3-D postcard. Thanks WL for sending this card while travelling to Lhasa.














Three 1.20 Yuan scenery definitive stamps and a 60 Fen environmental definitive stamp were used on this card. Apparently, only the commemorative postmark of Lhasa stamped early is more visible. The machine cancellation was so light that as of nothing is legible.
