It was sent from the post office in the capital. A 70Kr definitive stamp was used to send this postcard. It was cancelled at Lefkoşa on 2.6.2014.

CY-TR-O5

Another postcard on Girne (Kyrenia) with the Kyrenia Castle (Girne Kalesi) at the background. A castle since the Middle Age and used to guard the harbor. It has been changed several times. A maritime museum is housed in this castle. This card is one of several cards sent from this place.
















A 70Kr stamp on artifact was used. It was cancelled at Girne 1 on 2.6.2014. Even though not fully stamped but it is much clear than the other postmarks done in this place during the visit.

CY-TR-O4

A card on Lefkoşa (Nicosia) with the Büyük Han (the Great Inn) shown. It was one of the first buildings by the Ottomon upon seizing the island. Currently, it is a tourist destination with souvenir shops and cafe. This card was sent during a visit to the northern side of the city.
















A 80Kr definitive stamp was used to sent this postcard. It was sent from Kaymaklı, Lefkoşa on 2.6.2014 but the postmark is not clear.

CY-TR-O3

Another view of the Kyrenia Harbor in Girne (Kyrenia). This historical port was once a trading port. This city is currently a famous tourist city. This card was sent during a stay in this city.















A 70Kr stamp on artifact was used to send this card. It was posted in the mail box outside Girne post office on 3.6.2014 but only cancelled on 5.6.2014. The postmark also partially stamped/

CY-TR-O2

A card on Girne (Kyrenia) that shows its famous historical port. Kyrenia Harbor is now a docking site for yachts and surrounded with restaurants and hotels. This card was sent when visiting this part of Cyprus.
















This card was sent from Lapta, Girne on 3.6.2014. A 70Kr stamp on artifact was used. The postmark is also not very clear.

TR-O18

A postcard showing the Sultan Ahmet Square (Sultanahmet Meydanı) with the two iconic buildings, Hagia Sophia (left) and Sultan Ahmet Mosque (right), at the background. There are three surviving obelisks in this square formerly known as Hippodrome Constantinople during the Byzantine era. The obelisk found in this picture are Obelisk of Thutmose III (shorter on the left) and Walled Obelisk (higher on the right). This sqaure is part of the Archaeological Park of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of "Historic Areas of Istanbul." This is one of the cards sent during a visit to this city.

TR-O17

A postcard on the Blue Mosque or officially known as Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camii). Located in the Archaeological Park of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of "Historic Areas of Istanbul." Another card sent during a visit to this city.
















A 2,50 Turkish Lira EUROPA stamp on musical instrument was used. It was sent from Unkapanı, Istanbul on 5.6.2014.Interesting to note that this cancellation with date in reverse order.

TR-O16

A card on Maiden's Tower (Kız Kulesi) on an islet off the coast of Üsküdar, in the Asian side of Istanbul. On the background is the historic Istanbul in the European side. This is another postcard sent during a visit to this city.
















A 2.50 Turkish Lira stamp on Istanbul was used. It was cancelled at Sirkeci on 7.6.2014. The date was in red and hardly recognized.

LK-P9

Another post office issued postcard with the theme "festive." It shows several people beating the drums and dancing. Thanks Mikram.















A Rs5.00 stamp with similar design as the postcard was used. Two stamps with face values Rs5.00 and Rs15.00 on aviation were added. They were cancelled in General Hospital on 2?.4(?).2014.
