A multi-view postcard on La Pierre de Volvic, Auvergne. On the left is the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Clermont. The mojntain range, Chaîne des Puys, a volcanic mountain is shown on upper right. This natural area is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Chaîne des Puys - Limagne fault tectonic arena". The quarry (carrière) to obtain the volvic stone is on the bottom right. Strasbourg Cathedral or Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg is seen at the center with its tall tower. St. Thomas' Church (Église Saint-Thomas) is seen at the bottom left.
