A postcard replica from mosaic showing the statue in Hong Kong. This postcard was prepared for Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (上海浦东发展银行). The ID for this postcard is SHYZP1998-1(10-4). Thanks Wuyou (shanldxia).














This postcard comes with a 40 Fen flower pre-printed stamp. Additional stamps, three 20 Fen stamps, T166(6-3), were used. However it is still short in postage but manage to get through without postage due mark. These stamps were cancelled with Yunnan Qiubei Yinye 1 (云南 丘北 营业1) on 23.12.2009.

A 4.20 Yuan bird definitive stamp was added to increase the existing postage paid (a 80 Fen Year of the Tiger stamp). It was sent from Guangzhou Shuqianlu (Tongqu) 1 on 25.12.2009. The Chinese characters on the postmark read as 广州 署前路(筒取)1. Several red-color postmarks from Christmas Post from Guangzhou Zhonghua Guangchang (广州 中华广场) are seen here.

A view of the Beijing hutong. Hutong is a type of narrow street or alley with many houses along the street or alley. It is similar to neighborhood. This one is taken from Beigouyan Hutong (北沟沿胡同). This hutong is located in Dongcheng District (东城区). Thanks Fengwenyi.
















Many stamps were used to make up the postage. They are . This postcard was sent from Hebei Baoding on 28.12.2010. The cancellation is written as Hebei Baoding Pinxin (Tongqu)4 or in Chinese 河北 保定 平信(筒取)4 . "Pinxin" is ordinary mail and "Tongqu" is taken from mailbox.

An artistic postcard from India Post in which the design is adapted from wall painting in Madhya Pradesh. It shows the First War of Independence in 1857. Thanks Palak.













Two Rs5.00 stamps with famous people, Dr. Rajakumar and Dr. Mahendra Lal Sircar were used together with a Rs2.00 rose definitive stamp. These stamps were cancelled in Surat. The cancellations are quite blur.

A multiview postcard of Santiago de Chile. The first row (from left to right) shows Iglesia de Los Dominicos, Sector de Providencia, and Sector de Apoquindo. The second row shows Vista desde el cerro S. Cristóbal, Sector de Las Condes, and Plaza Italia. The last row shows Estación Central, Museo de Bellas Artes, and Valle Nevado. A $310 Christmas stamp of 2009 and a $280 Francisco Valdés Subercaseaux stamp were used to pay its postage. A red-color cancellation was used to cancel these stamps on 22.12.2009. The postmark is not clear, only partial place name, "...larrica", is seen. According to Muriel, it may be from Villarrica.

A postcard on Helsinki's distinct landmark, Helsingin tuomiokirkko or Suurkirkko (Helsinki Cathedral). The statue in the front is dedicated to Emperor Alexander II of Russia. This church was built from 1830 to 1852 in neoclassical style. Thanks AKS.
















It was sent from Helsinki (Helsingfors) on 4.1.2010. Very clear machine cancellation. This 1 KL stamp shows the landscape in the northern part of Finland.

A 1.20 Yuan bird definitive stamp, a 10 Fen environmental definitive stamp and a 80 Fen junk greeting stamp were used. They are cancelled in Guangzhou Hailianlu 2 (广州 海联路 2) on 4.1.2010.













Due to limited space on the place where stamps are usually put on, additional stamps (a pair of 1.20 Yuan bird definitive stamps) were pasted on the bottom of this card.
