A postcard on Saue Mõis. This building is under Estonian National Historical Preservation. It is located in Saue, near Tallinn. On the center is the front of this magnificient building. The four pictures on the corners are the interior. Thanks sirelid.
















A clean and clear meter cancellation with wavy-line on the left from Tallinn PK cancelled on 9.11.2009. A 9.00 (equivalent to €0,58) stamp was used.

A flag (Bandera) postcard from Kingdom of Spain. The coat of arms is enlarged as compare to the national flag. This version is adopted in the Constitution 1978. Thanks Lino.
















A o,78 geothermal energy stamp was used. A clear meter cancellation of CTA Madrid cancelled it on 11.11.2009.

TR-P6

Another postcard from İstanbul, this is Süleymaniye Camii (Süleymaniye Mosque ), which was built in 1557. It is also within the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name "Historic Areas of Istanbul". Thanks gokche.















A 50 Kuruş stamp of Father of Modern Turkey was used to send this postcard on 10.11.2009. This cancellation is only partial seen, Büyükşehir (?) Suresi, on the top two rows and the lower part is missing.

AU-P3

A miltiview postcard from Melbourne. The picture on the top shows the Yarra River and the buildings on both sides of the river. A Melbourne tram, art scupture and city skyline are shown on the bottom. Thanks wildwood28.















A $1.40 stamp for international post was used. The meter cancellation is blur but still interesting feature is clearly shown. An up-side-down "11" on the date. It was cancelled on November 11 6pm. Someone was careless when changing the date-stamp.

IE-P2

The Spire of Dublin or known officially as An Túr Solais (Monument of Light) is shown on this postcard. This stainless steel, pin-like monument is located on the former site of Nelson's Pillar on O'Connell Street. It is another landmark found in this city. Thanks fisherman.




















A 82c flower definitive stamp was used to pay the postage. It was cancelled by an advertisement meter cancellation with 8 wavy-line and wording "Enjoy a 4 star hotel break for €95. Visit your post Office" from Baile Átha Cliath (Dublin) DMC on 10.11.2009. There is a set of number "21105634" as part of the cancellation.

A postcard from Curitiba, capital of Paraná state, showing a view at Praças Anita Garibaldi (Anita Garibaldi Square). Thanks Tarcisio.
















This postcard was sent on 4.11.2009 using three stamps. They are R$0,o5 cloth making, R$0,10 trumpet and R$2,20 archaeology stamps. Two round shape Itatiba-SPI postmarks cancelled these stamps. Extra postmarks are found on both sides. On the left is a partially stamped commemorative postmark. While, on the right is a "DH" rectangular postmark. I wonder what is this for.












Another clearer but still not that clear commemorative postmark is found at the bottom of this postcard. 152 Anniversary of Itatiba is commemoratived since November 1, 1857. The issue date for this postmark is 19.10.2009(?).

Scenery of an ancient water village, Zhujiajiao (朱家角), is shown on this postcard. This place is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai (上海 青浦县). Houses and shoplots are built along the rivers. Stone bridges, like this Qijia Bridge (戚家桥) in the postcard, connect both side can be found throughout the township. Thanks Qusia.














This postcard was sent from Hangzhou (杭州) and processed at Chengdong Toudichuli 10 (城东投递处理10) on 30.10.2009. Two 1.50 Yuan stamps with different designs, ethnic Dai architecture (1998-8, 4-4) and 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong Return to its Motherland (2007-17, 3-3), were used to pay the postage.

Orthodox Christian Church of Hakodate (函館), Hokkaidō (北海道). Orthodox Christian was brought in by St. Nicholas of Japan in 19th Century. He landed in Hakodate in 1861 as a priest of the chapel to Russian consulate . Thanks yukina.




















This postcard was sent from Matsudi, Chiba on 15.11.2009. Two contemporary definitive stamps of flower and nature series (¥20 and ¥30) were used together with a ¥20 stamp with a lady to pay for its postage.

A multiview postcard of Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. It is the homebase for Colorado Rockies, a baseball team in US Major Baseball League. The main entrance of this ball park, as shown on the lower right, has a clock tower. Thanks KatyC.















It was sent from Denver, Colorado on 13.11.2009. A 10cents American clock, a 44cents christmas reindeer stamp and another 44cents Purple Heart stamp were used to paid the postage.

A German map postcard with its 16 states (Bundesländer) and some of the landmarks of the country. On the left, from top to bottom, are Freie Hansestadt Hamburg, Heidelberg am Necker, Frankfurt am Main, and Muchen. On the right are Westerhever Leuchtturm, Hauptstadt Berlin, Dresden and Nurnberg. It was sent with a 70 cents Leo von Klenze 1784-1864 stamp, and two flower definitive stamps with face values 10 and 20 cents. A meter cancellation from Briefzentrum 14 (Berlin-Südwest) cancelled these stamps on 6.11.2009. The meter cancellation is 100 Years of cdm.

A 98cents airmail stamp was used to send this postcard from Piedmont Triad on 13.11.2009. The meter cancellation with 7-wavy lines is an example from yesteryear format.

RU-P9

Panoramic view of the Novodevichy Convent (Новодевичий монастырь) in Moscow. It was built at a curve of Moskva River in 1524 by Grand Prince Vasili III. It is virtually intact since the 17th century. It is listed in the UNESCO WOrld Heritage List using the title "Ensemble of the Novodevichy Convent". Thanks raima.
















It was sent on 5.11.2009. A 8p Baikal stamp, a 5p water stamp and two definitive stamps with face value 6p and 2p were used. This meter cancellation was blur in the town name.

RU-P8

A view on the froozen Irkut River (Russian: Иркут and Buryat: Эрхүү гол) inTunkinsky National Park, Buryat Republic of Russian Federation. The Irkut River freezes up from late October until mid November and it will stay icebound until late April or early May. Sayan Mountain (Саяны, Sayany) can be seen at the background. Thanks Anasty.

















Four stamps were used on this postcard. They are 8p 2003 Europa poster art stamp, 6p Solovetsky Light House, 3p Solovetsky and a 2p lynx stamp. The meter cancellation on the postcard is too light to see where and when it was sent out.
