RU-P9

Panoramic view of the Novodevichy Convent (Новодевичий монастырь) in Moscow. It was built at a curve of Moskva River in 1524 by Grand Prince Vasili III. It is virtually intact since the 17th century. It is listed in the UNESCO WOrld Heritage List using the title "Ensemble of the Novodevichy Convent". Thanks raima.

It was sent on 5.11.2009. A 8p Baikal stamp, a 5p water stamp and two definitive stamps with face value 6p and 2p were used. This meter cancellation was blur in the town name.
