Three definitive stamps showing two type of architecture were used, bridge with face values 6500₫ and 10500₫ and a building stamp with face value 4000₫ . They were cancelled at Saigon 700000 on 15.8.2022.

A multi-view postcard on Reunification Palace (Dinh Thống Nhất or Le palais de la reunification) in Ho Chi Minh City. It is also known as Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập). A 15000d art stamp and a 4000d Nelson Mandela stamp were used. They were cancelled at Saigon on 11.8.2019.

A postcard showing local market selling fruits in Can Tho (Cần Thơ). It is the largest city in Mekong Delta. Thanks Matthew for sending this card while having short vacation there.

 

A 10500d Year of the Chicken stamp was used. A neat postmark of Saigon 700000 cancelled this stamp on 16.5.2017.

VN-P10

A bird-eye view on Tam Cốc during rice harvest season in Ninh Binh. The rice field is scattered in the flat land among the hills and cave karst system. It is famous for its boat ride while enjoying the scenery as seen in this card. Along with several sites within Ninh Bình Province, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site listed under the name "Trang An Landscape Complex." Thanks Jobbo for another amazing card sent while travelling.

A 10500d Year of the Monkey stamp was used. The blue-color postmark is rather faint. It was sent from Ha Noi ??? with postcode 100920 on day of 18. The month and year are not legible.

A postcard showing the old photo of Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai High school (Trường Trung học Phổ thông Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai), also known as Gia Long Secondary School, in 1925. It is a school for women in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in the early 20th century. Thanks jinyinan.

Two Asiatic black bear stamps with different values, 2000₫ and 10500₫, were used. Only the higher value stamp was cancelled  with postmark of Hanoi BP 100010 on 29.6.2012.

The entrance of the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu, 文廟) in Hanoi. This is the main gate to the first university in Vietnam during Lý Dynasty. Thanks JoinHanoi.















A4500₫ fishing cat, a 5000₫ traditional bamboo craft and a 3500₫ flower stamps were used. They were cancelled at Hanoi 01 on 17.4.2011.

Bridge Pagoda at Hoi An (會安). This bridge is known as Chùa cầu. A well-preserved trading port, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site registered under its name using Vietnamese script, "Hội An." Thanks JoinHanoi.















A 1500₫ praying mantis stamp and 10500₫ culture stamp were used. They were cancelled by machine cancellation of Hanoi 01 on 12.4.2011.

Market scene in Hoi An. Due to its well-preserved of its city and trading port, this ancient city is listed in UNESCO World Heritage List using its Vietnamese name "Hội An". People wearing conical hat, known as nón lá, is common in Vietnam. Thanks JOinHanoi.

A pair of 4500₫ bamboo products definitive stamps were used.  They are cancelled at Hoi An XT 2 (postcode 563830) on 19.2.2010.

A postcard showing the Khuê Văn Các (Khue Van Pavilion) of Văn Miếu (Temple of Literature). Văn Miếu is a temple of Confucious in Hanoi. Through this pavilion, one would enter the third courtyard. At the center of this courtyard is the Thien Quang Tinh (Well of Heavenly Clarity). Thanks joinhannoi.
















A pair of 4.500₫ flower stamps were used to pay the postage. However, they are not cancelled. There is no postal marking on the postcard too.

Different view of terranced rice field of Sa Pa. The farmers are planting rice, while a buffalo is ploughing at another level. A small hut is constructed as a resting place in the center of the field. Thanks JoinHanoi.















A 8000₫ stamp traditional music and folk art stamp was used to send this postcard. The meter cancellation is only partially printed and leaving blank on the date stamp.

Terraced paddy fields of Sa Pa in the northwest of Vietnam. This unique man-made landscape is shared with nearby districts and also across the border in China. Thanks Aletta.















This postcard was sent by paying 7800₫. A red-color postage paid meter cancellation with "PAR AVION" from TP Ho Chi Minh, 710200 Quan 1 was printed on the card.

Terraced fields in the North-west (Tây Bắc), Vietnam. This area and the districts near this region are mountainous. Terrance rice fields are practiced here similar to the places across the border in China. Thanks Russianruby.















A 8000₫ terrestial orchid stamp was used to send this postcard from Hanoi on 12.6.2009. This machine cancellation is running out of ink, maybe. Only partial of this five wavy lines cancellation is seen.
