A postcard on Kandy (මහ නුවර) with Sri Dalada Maligawa or Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relics (ශ්‍රී දළදා මාළිගාව) on the right. On the left is a picture on The Kandy Esala Perahera, a parade held annually to pay homage to the Buddha relics. This city is declared an UNESCO World Heritage List under the name "Sacred City of Kandy" mainly because of the relics. Thanks Mikram.


















A Rs10 Black Penny and a Rs15 Sculpture stamps were used. They were cancelled at Colombo General Hospital on 30.1.2016.
