The front gate of National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (國立中正紀念堂). The memorial hall is seen in between arches. It was once renamed to "Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall" (台灣民主紀念館) without less controversy. During this renaming controversy, the inscription on the front gate is changed from "Great Centrality
and Perfect Uprightness" (大中至正) to "Liberty Square" (自由廣場) in 2007. The memorial hall has restored its original name in 2009 but the new name for the square (as on the front gate) is remain. Thanks AnnHuang.
A NT$10 flower definitive stamp was used. The postmark of Xinzhuang (新莊) was partially cancelled on the postcard on 5.2.2010.
