Two stamps showing personality were used to send this postcard from Poznań on 30.10.2009. These stamps are 1.55zł Jerzy Popiełuszko, a Roman Catholic priest and martyr, and 1.95zł Ludwik Hirszfeld, a co-discoverer of the ABO blood type.

A long postcard from the University of Pittsburg, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. It shows the Heinz Field, an American football stadium and also home for the Pittsburg Panthers. This picture was taken during the match of Pittsburg vs Notre Dame on October 11, 2003. Thanks krhocevar.










It was sent from Pittsburg, PA 152 on 31.10.2009. To be exactly, 6pm. This meter cancellation is very clear (well done!). A 98 cents airmail stamp was used to pay its postage.

A view on Sun Moon Lake (日月潭) during Spring. It is the largest water body in Taiwan. Also, a tourist attraction in the center part of the island. Thanks sadyyy.















A NT$10 flower definitive stamp was used to send this postcard from Tainan (台南). A quite neat cancellation was done on 9.11.2009.

A multiview postcard from Fyn (Funen), Demark. It is the third largest island of that country. Upper left shows the cliff of Fyn Hoved. A house of Tåsinge on the upper center. On the right is roof of buildings in Nyborg. The lower center is the Nye Lillebæltsbro, a bridge connecting the mainland and the island. A windmill of Svendborg is shown on the lower left corner. In the middle is a house from Fåborg. Thanks annab3783.

An aerial view of Cappadocia, eastern part of Anatolia. A tourist place for its rock-cut dwelling. It is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage List with the name "Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia". Thanks ctrekoza.

IN-P1

A postcard with a set of stamps as design. These stamps with Asiatic lion were issued with WWF logo. Nowaday, this endangered subspecies of lion is only found in Gujarat, India. Thanks Palak.














Three stamps were used on this postcard. They are two different designs Rs5.00 stamps (Uttam Kumar and Rampur Raza Libary) and a Rs2 flower stamp. The two cancellations are too blur to recognize the native writing. It was sent on ?.11.2009.

Paella, a regional rice dish from Valencia. There are different varieties and this is the seafood variety. Most chefs use the bomba rice to cook this dish. Other ingredients are saffron and olive oil. Thanks Lino.















Another Spanish postcard sent with a €0,78 geothermal stamp. This one is sent from CTA Madrid on 11.11.2009. The meter cancellation is seem to be uniform.

A €0,78 geothemal stamp was used to send this postcard from Barcelona on 11.11.2009. This meter cancellation is partially printed on the date stamp, leaving a blank area on the place of cancellation (CTT Barcelona).

HR-P4

An odd-shape postcard from Pula or Pola. The shape appears like a cross is actually tradisional window frame. The Arch of the Sergii is appeared in the center. This arch is a remnant from Ancient Rome. It was built by the Sergii Family during that time. Thanks rlicul.


















This postcard was sent from Pula on 4.11.2009. Two definitive stamps, 5.00 building and 0.10 textiles, and a 1,65 commemorative stamp were used.
