A pair of 2 Yuan lily flowers stamps (2003-4, 4-4) were used to send this postcard on 9.10.2009. They are cancelled with red-color machine cancellation of Zhejiang Shaoxing Pinxin 3 (浙江 绍兴 平信 3). Pinxin means ordinally mail. An additional commemorative postmark, celebrating 60th Anniversary of People's Republic of China, from the same city where this card was posted, was stamped on upper left corner of this card.

A postcard from Ospitaletto, Brescia, in the northern part of Italy. It shows the Chiesa San Giacomo (San Giacomo Church) at Piazza Roma (Roma Square). Thanks Lessa.




















A definitive stamp with face value of €0.85 was used to send this postcard. This stamp is not cancelled with any postmark.













However, a orange-color bar code was printed on the bottom at the back of the postcard. This indicated this postcard is, indeed, gone through the postal delivery system.

It was sent from Itatiba, SPI, on 14.10.2009. The stamps used on this card are R$0,20 shoe repairer, R$0,65 postman and R$1,50 pianist.

Another new year greeting commercial postcard of Beijing Social Insurance Fund Management Centre (北京市社会保险基金管理中心) received. New year elements and greeting words are found on the postcard. The postcard ID no. is 09-110105-13-0160-000. Thanks mingzhu.












As usual, a pre-printed stamp with the theme, Year of the Ox, and face value, 80 Fen, is pre-printed on the postcard. According to sender, it was sent from Hong Kong (also indicated with writting at the bottom of the card). This meant it did not have any valid postage to send this postcard. However, no postal evidence it has gone through the postal delivering system as there is not a single postmark on the card. Yet, it was delivered by postman to my mailbox.

A postcard that shows part of the Dazu Rock Carvings (大足石刻), a UNESCO World Heritage site in Dazu County, Chongqing Municipality (重庆市 大足县). This part of rock carvings is found at Baodingshan (宝顶山), which was shaped between 12th and 13th century. Thanks tangbo626.
















It was mailed from Chongqing on 18.10.2009 with cancellation of Chongqing Guojiatuo 1 (重庆 郭家沱1) . Stamps used on this card are a block of four 50 Fen stamps of cycad (1996-7, 4-3) and a 100Fen rock statue (1997-9, 6-3). The red cancellation is a stampfair commemorative postmark for celebrating 60 Years of the Establishment of P.R. China and also 80 Years of Chongqing Liberation.

A postcard with 44th American president, Barack Obama, and the White House in Washington, D.C. serves as the background. Thanks Dorinco. A 3 cents American star is sticked on the upper right corner of this card.















At the back of this postcard, there is an presendential inauguration commemorative postmark cancelled on the stamps with first-class postage paid on 20.1.2009. These stamps are 5 cents American toleware stamp and a 34 cents Mentoring a Child stamp.




















This postcard was sent inside an envelope with three stamps. They are 10 cents American clock, and two 44 cents stamps (wedding rings and Lisa Simpsons). It was sent from Sterling, VA 20165 on 23.10.2009 using postmark from Mailer's postmark with permit no. 67.

A postcard from County Wicklow, just south of County Dublin. This card shows the interior part of this coastal county, countryside with beautiful landscape. The Glenmacnass River flow through this picturesque valley and joins Avonmore River. This place is near to Laragh (An Láithreach). Thanks fisherman. Orange-colored bar code was printed at the bottom of this side indicating it is pass through the postal delivering system.















Well, I have to show the whole card at the back. There is no trace of postmarking or stamp on this side. Only the airmail label is there.

An aerial view of Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterpark of Wildwood, New Jersey. It is one of the famous seaside amusement park. Thanks krhocevar.















A 98cents contemporary airmail stamp was used to pay its postage. It was sent from Pittsburg, PA 152 on 27.10.2009.

CA-P4

Wheat field near Brandon, Manitoba. A common scene at flatland with farm house surrounded by trees to block wind. Thanks AlliKat.















Many stamps were used to pay the postage. A 54-cent La crosse stamp and two P-value stamps were used. Also, two low value definitive stamps, 1cent bookbinding and 2cents decorative silverwork, were added. The machine cancellation is not clearly printed. So, two handstamped box stamps with 5-straight line were used to cancel the stamps.

NL-P6

A postcard shows the Amsterdam port with the replica ship Amsterdam on the background. This replica ship is normally moored near Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum (Netherlands Maritime Museum). It is part of the rich maritime history of the Netherlands. Thanks Woensel.




















A 95 Eurocents heart-shaped earth stamp with "priority" label attached with it was used to send this postcard. It was sent on 30.10.2009. The 5-wavy lines machine cancellation was partly omitted. The city name with last characters"ost" was recognized.
