A night view in Copenhagen (København). It shows the ice skating in Tivoli Gardens, an entertainment park with a pagoda structure. Opened in 1834, it is the second oldest amusement park in the world. Thanks annab3783.

A reproduction of picture of yesteryear which shows the watchtower at the southwestern corner of the Inner City of Beijing (北京内城) in 1920s. There was once four watchtowers, only one at southeastern corner still exists now. Thanks siyo.















A 3 Yuan greeting stamp was used to pay its postage. It is cancelled at Beijing Changping Xiaotangshan 3 (北京 昌平 小汤山 3) on 5.3.2010.

A postcard on night view of Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier (尖沙咀碼頭), which is commonly known as Star Ferry Pier (天星碼頭). Located on Kowloon Peninsular, this pier provides ferry services across Victoria Harbor to Hong Kong Island (in the background). Thanks shadowshek.

A long postcard from Sandomierz. It shows the market place of this city, where the Town Hall is at the center of this card. This city is known for its old town, which make it a tourist destination.Thanks inkarri.











A 3.75zł flower stamp was used. It was cancelled on 4.3.2010 from an unknown location. Only partial of this postmark is legible, "Komo???".

CU-P3

Same postcard on the Castillo del Morro (Morro Castle) of Santiago de Cuba from mauroh. This fortification is listed in the UNESCO heritage list with the title "San Pedro de la Roca Castle, Santiago de Cuba".  Thanks mauroh.
 














A manatee (35 centavos) and a mushroom stamp (3 centavos) were used. it was cancelled with a rectangle postmark of "Communicaciones Ciudad Habana". The date "21.1.2010" was hand-written. Interestingly, it was miss-sent to Pontarlier in France again. The postmark of Pontarlier CDIS is cacelled on 26.2.2010 on the manatee stamp. The postal clerk try to cancel the orange bar code on the bottom with bal-point pen.

A postcard on the Rocky Mountain National Park. This view on Longs Peak is seen from Bear Lake. This mountain is one of the prominent in Colorado state. This peak is named after Major Stephen Long, who explored this area in 1820s. It reaches over 14,000ft in elevation. A long white label of the post office is seen on the bottom but nothing was printed there. Thanks krhocevar.















This postcard was sent from Pittsburgh on 23.2.2010. The stamps used on this card are two 44 cents (Marge Simpson of the animation "The Simpsons" and lunar new year) and a 10 cents American clock definitive stamp.
