An advertisement postcard on electrical goods of Gelin (格林) from Changsu, Jiangshu (江苏 常熟). The card shows the air-conditioned and refregirator with the city background. The postcard ID is 2000(10)-0368(6-6). Thanks laomao7109 for sending this card with wangjiayimike.













A 60 Fen flower stamp is pre-printed on this postcard. Bird definitive stamps were added to increase the postage paid to 3 Yuan. They are two 1 Yuan and a 40 Fen bird stamps. They are neatly tied with cancellation from that city too, Jiangsu Changshu Dayi 1 (江苏 常熟 大义 1), on 5.8.2009.

The Alamo of San Antonio,Texas. A US hitoric landmark, it is originally known as Mission San Antonio de Valero. It is the site of the Battle of Alamo which fought between Mexico and Republic of Texas during the Texas Revolution (1836). Thanks rothko.















A 98 cents Grand Teton National park airmail stamp was used. It was sent from Austin TX 787 on 11.8.2009 with a 7-wavy lines machine cancellation.

A track inside a bamboo park (Zhuhai Park or 竹海公园) in Guizhou Province. The ID of this postcard is FP8 (10-5) 1998B. Thanks samuelq.














There is a 420 Fen pre-printed stamp with the same design of the postcard. A 10 Fen environmental definitive stamp and a 20 Fen owl stamp (1995-5, 4-2) were added to increase the postage. The card was sent from Hangzhou Yongjinmen 2 (杭州 涌金门 2) on 9.8.2009.

EE-P4

Another postcard sent by Eellaa. This time a view at Saaremaa, the biggest island in Estonia. It is part of Moonsund archipelago. Located in Baltic Sea, this is the beach view of the island.















A gutter pair with two 4.40 value protection of people stamps and a 20s state emblem stamp were used to send this postcard. It was sent on 10.8.2009 at Tallinn too.

Snow covered of the older part of Tallinn. It is listed in UNESCO World Heritage under the name "Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn". The tall building at the background is St. Olaf’s church or St. Olav's church (Oleviste kirik). Thanks Eellaa.














This postcard was sent from Tallinn on 10.8.09. Three stamps were used on this postcard. A 1.00 love stamp, a 2.60 farm view and a 4.40 European beaver stamp. All are neatly cancelled at Tallinn on 10.8.2009.

Atypical back country of Finland, forest and water bodies. Known as the country with thousands of lakes and islands, the water bodies are connecting to each others and allow people to travel by boats. Most of the Finland is flatland and covered mostly with coniferous taiga forests and fens. Thanks Kaheli.















A 1 LK/KL stamp with furniture stamp was used on the postcard. The machine cancellation is running out of ink and only lightly cancellation is visible on the postcard.

A €0,80 dragonfly stamp issued for Açores was used. It was sent from Miguel Bombarda (Queluz) 2745 on 20(?).8.09. "2745" is the postcode for Queluz in Sintra, near the capital, Lisbon.

The two mountains, Bürgenstock and Stanserhorn near Lucerne. Bürgenstock is completely surrounded by Lake Lucerne. Both mountains are famous as viewpoints. Thanks jamie1972.















A 180 owl stamp was used to send this postcard on 3(?).8.2009. The priority label is attached with the stamp. The machine cancellation from Härkingen 4621 has a Swiss cross symbol.

This postcard comes with a pre-printed 80 Fen lotus flower stamp. Additional two bird defintive stamps (1.20 Yuan and 1 Yuan) were added to increase the postage to 3 Yuan. It was sent from a border town, Manzhouli, with postmarks "Neimenggu Manzhouli Toudi 5" (内蒙古 满洲里 投递 5) on 1.8.2009.
