A Pos Malaysia's World Heritage Sites pre-paid postcard. The card shows three of the four sites found in Malaysia on the front. They are the Malacca and Penang on the left (a joinly listed sites) and Kinabalu Park. Thanks bl5uesky.















The card was sent from Batu Pahat on 20/7/2009. Another commemorative postmark (in conjunction with the issue of this postcard) is cancelled on the pre-printed 50 sen stamp, which depicting the Mulu National Park.

A commemorative postcard from China's State Postal Bureau with postcard ID JP-142 (1-1). It is issued for the 2007 China Water Games (中国水上运动会) in Rizhao, Shandong (山东 日照). This Games was held between August 28 and September 8. A mascot of the Games is printed on the card and also a pre-printed 80 Fen stamp with the Games' emblem. It was cancelled with Guangdong Shenzhen Pingxin 2 (广东 深圳 平信 2) postmark. "Pingxin" means ordinary mail. Thanks MingZhu.

Additional stamps were affixed on the back of the postcard but they are not canceled. Two 150Fen wall painting of Helanshan (1998-21, 3-3) stamps and one scenery 80 Fen (2004-24, 12-2) Stamp. Altogether, the postage paid to send this postcard, including the face value of the card, is 4.60 Yuan. The sender also printed a list of results of Grand Slam by tennis player, Roger Federer.

Lots of low denomination stamps used on this postcard. The stamps are 44 cents blacelets, three 17 cents bighorn sheep, two 4 cents Chippendale chair, two 3 cents Striped Star and a 1 cent Tiffany lamp. The total amount postage paid is USD1.10. It is overpaid. The postcard was sent from Des Moines, Iowa, on 9.7.2009.

Another heritage monument from Lukang (鹿港), this is the Tianho Temple (天后宮). It is built during Ming Dynasty (1573). This temple is dedicated to Mazu. The temple is also declared as national third class mounument. Thanks AnnHuang.

A rather blur postmark. Actually, this card was re-sent. The frst time I received it was un-cancelled. So, I sent it back to the sender to re-send it. Well, at least, this time came with a postmark. Only the lower part of postmark is seen here. It was sent on 11.7.2009.

Chicago Water Tower is the second oldest water tower in United States of America. This tower was built in 1869. It is the symbol of Old Chicago and one of the few survival buildings of Great Chicago Fire 1871. Thanks ashulman.

This postcard was sent with a 98 cents airmail stamp. The cancellation is a bit blur. It was sent from Palatine (?) on 9.7.2009. This seven-wavy lines cancellation with a round date stamp might be of the former type. Most of the meter cancellations I received are without the round date stamp and wavy lines.

It was sent from Suzhou Kunshan Bingxi 3 (苏州 昆山 兵希 3) on 8.7.2009. Two stamps were used. They are 3 Yuan greeting stamp and 1.50 Yuan 10th Anniversary of the Return of Hong Kong to its Motherland (2007-17, 3-3).

The Pearl Shoal Waterfall (珍珠滩瀑布) in Jiuzhaigou Valley (九寨沟) in Sichuan (四川). It is one of the scenic area in the valley, which is a UNESCO heritage site under the name "Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area". Thanks Hoping.

This postcard was sent with international surface postcard rate, which is 3 Yuan. Three stamps were used. They are 200 Fen coral fish (1998-29, 8-7) and two 50 Fen stamps (1998-23, 3-1 and 1998-25, 4-3). It was posted at Guangdong Zhuhai Beishida (Dai) 1. The postmark in Chinese is 广东 珠海 北师大 (代) 1. Beishida is the short form of Beijing Normal University.

Two red-colored North Quincy postmarks cancelled the three stamps on 9.7.2009. Two animals stamps (64 cents dolphine and 28 cents polar bear) and a 5 cents American Teleware stamp were used. Only 97 cents?











Well, another stamp found its way on the postcard. The 1 cent Tiffany lamp stamp is pasted on the other corner by the side of the barcode printed by post office.

This postcard was sent from Shandong Dezhou Yingye 8 (山东 德州 营业 8) on 5.7.2009. Four different stamps with the same face value, 1.20 Yuan, were used. They are Chinese calligraphy (2007-30, 6-5), dragon dance (2007-8, 2-1), scenery (2007-23, 3-2) and heritage building (2007-28, 4-2).
